Lodging & Campground Reservations

Below is information on North and South Rim hotels, motels, and RV parks and campgrounds that are located in or near the park. The last section includes the lodging found along the highway between the North and South Rims.

Please note that I am only providing information and links to the companies below. I do not work with any of them and cannot help you with reservations or more in-depth information. Please contact the appropriate companies below.

For those interested in camping, I highly recommend that you visit Grand Canyon National Park's Camping page. It includes useful information on camping both in the park and outside the park boundaries. They describe the types of sites available (RV, tent, etc.), prices, and what services are available.

Recreation.gov is another wonderful resource for those looking for campgrounds or cabins throughout the country. A search feature on the home page allows you to input your desired area and the dates that you are wanting reservations and will then search for what is available! Very handy.

Highway between South and North Rims

Grand Canyon National Park Lodges - All hotels, motels and restaurants inside the park are operated by Grand Canyon Lodges-including Phantom Ranch. You can visit their site to get information on lodging, restaurants, and gift shops and to also make reservations for your stay at the park. The one campground on the South Rim that provides full-hookups, Trailer Village, is also operated by GCNPL.

Grand Canyon National Park Lodges: North Rim - The only lodge in the park on the North Rim is the beautiful historic Grand Canyon Lodge. This site has information and a reservations system for the lodge, dining, and gift shops specifically on the North Rim.

National Park Guide - A comprehensive hotel guide for national parks in the US and Canada. They offer hotel reservation services for over 100 National Parks, as well as car hire and many other services. Whether you require a hotel or cabin for a day or a week, they can handle all of your accommodation needs.

The National Park Service Reservation Center - For making online reservations for Grand Canyon's North and South Rim campgrounds. Neither of the campgrounds have hookups, but water and restrooms are available at each. There are shower and Laundromat facilities, and dump stations available near each. You can find specific information and availability for each on the website. You can also call 1(800) 436-PARK (7275) to make reservations. Mather Campground is located in Grand Canyon Village on the South Rim, and the North Rim Campground is located-guess where-the North Rim! Desert View Campground is located thirty miles east of Grand Canyon Village but is strictly a first-come, first-served facility.
