With more than 4.5 million visitors visiting Grand Canyon each year, it can be very challenging to get a room or a backcountry permit. But once you've experienced the sublime beauty of a canyon sunset, watched a California Condor fly overhead, or set up your tent next to Bright Angel Creek, you'll know it was worth it!
Information for lodging, RV parks and campgrounds in the park in Grand Canyon Village and Desert View as well as the gateway communities of of Tusayan, just outside of the South Entrance, as well as Valle, Flagstaff and Williams.

Mule trips from the South Rim are offered year round. Two lengths of trips are offered; day trips to Plateau Point on the Bright Angel Trail and overnight trips to Phantom Ranch going down the Bright Angel and up the South Kaibab Trail.
